I grew up in New Zealand, adopted into a large, multicultural family of nine siblings and six nationalities. I often wondered where I truly belonged. Somewhere along the way, I learned to shape-shift — to be who I thought I needed to be — instead of who I really was.
At 19, I believed that finding my birth mother would help me find myself so off I trotted, running out of money in Australia. When that search didn’t bring the wholeness I hoped for, I realized something important: I had low self esteem and self worth.
Not long after, my 19-year-old brother died by suicide. That loss changed the direction of my life. It drew me inward — into healing, self-understanding, and eventually into training as a counsellor and coach so I could support others through their pain.
I raised three sons, navigated the end of a long marriage, rebuilt my life, and in 2021 lost my sister to suicide. That loss deepened my commitment to emotional wellbeing, nervous-system awareness, and helping people feel safe inside themselves again.
These experiences didn’t break me — they became my teachers.
They’re the reason my work today focuses on:
• emotional resilience
• self-trust
• nervous-system regulation
• values-aligned living
• healing in relationships
I know what it feels like to over-function, to question your worth, to hold everything together for everyone else — and quietly lose connection with yourself.
My mission now is simple: To help people trust themselves and find their own answers – so they can move foward with clarity in relationships and in life.
Working together our time together is about clarity, compassion, and creating steady change — from the inside out.
It’s for adult adoptees who are ready to stop circling the wound and finally resolve it.
If that’s you, the next step isn’t to book a session.
It’s to apply.
